All of the vintage and antique items featured on this blog are either from estate sales or my personal collection and are for sale. However, my purpose is to give you background on the extraordinary things from our past, things that have caught my eye. I find myself wondering about the person who owned these before me.

Gifts from a lover? Or maybe simply a lifetime of collecting beautiful things.

The only way I can explain my fascination with ‘old stuff’ is that there’s a bit of the archaeologist or historian hiding inside me. I find myself amused with these thoughts, since my career was in music education.
